Beings

A number of prominent figures appear by vague names in numerous prophecies. The names of such figures encountered so far are listed here. (N.B. Feel free to edit the below section with your theories/guesses/knowledge of who the title represents in your world.)

  • …Jealous and desiring the fortune of others, the Deceiver’s strand is cast early on. The first victims are done and the web swiftly spun. It grows and grows as ever more flies are brought in, but not all are drained…
  • …self-preservation is The Bargainer’s plea. To what lengths they are taken some find distasteful. The results speak for themselves…

Salemar’s Theories:

  • The Atoner – Could be The Doctor if Searos is The Exile
  • The Bargainer – I was thinkin’ Bantin but he dead…maybe Paradox somehow, dunno what he’s doin’
  • The Deceiver – Gonna guess that this is Merrick (He be tricksy)
  • The Dethroned – Bantin/Brekahn (Used to be royalty)
  • The Exile – The Doctor? (Exiled from his village for trickery or whatevs)
  • The Gambler – This could be Geoffrei, maybe (Or the Guardian)
  • The Guardian – Geoffrei/Salemar/Kolvar (Tanks, y’know how it is)
  • The Link – Scord (Really reachin’ here)
  • The Slayer – Searos (He slays!)
  • The Survivor – Salemar (KRUTHIKS GAAAH)

Brekahn’s Theories:

Well we definitely got some more prophecies. More prophecies, more clues, more questions. Oh well, if they weren’t vague we wouldn’t call them prophecies.

  • The Atoner – Unresolved past, eh? Scord and The Doctor have that (Doc hasn’t told us much about his past though.)
  • The Bargainer – Wonder if this was Bantin. ‘Self preservation’ sure paid off for him… Although if it was there’s some fury that’s going to be left undirected
  • The Deceiver – Even though Merrick hasn’t been very deceptive to us, the new lines point to him. Doesn’t strike me as the jealous type. The Deceiver is probably the person we least suspect.
  • The Dethroned – Maybe it is Brekahn, not sure about that bit about blood and damnation though. Sounds like a Scord thing. Either that or Brekahn will be a ruthless tyrannical dictator. (hey, if it gets shit done…)
  • The Exile – More matches to Searos. Hopefully he’ll bring more glory than ruin to his people
  • The Gambler – Constant threat and struggles, taking control of their own fate, I have no idea. A lot of people fit this. Could be Paradox.
  • The Guardian – I guess that giant fire monster is The Colossus. The Guardian must be a new threat.
  • The Link – Still a mystery!
  • The Slayer – Salemar is a likely candidate, seems like we should be planning a trip to his homeland
  • The Survivor – Someone with a lot of resolve that endured on his own, sounds like Geoffrei. That would mean his a few of his kind are still out there somewhere.
