The Torinfalls are a huge series of waterfalls fed from the peak of the Giant’s Tooth mountain on the northernmost plateau of the Sundered Chasm. They are named after the great druid, Torin, who led the defense against an invading army of devils from the Nine Hells in ages past. It is said that during the battle, Torin called forth a great tidal wave that washed away entire legions of devils. The force of the wave was so strong and the surge so powerful that to this day, an unending deluge of water makes it’s way down the mountainside to fuel the thunderous waterfalls responsible for the creation of the Irontree Basin. The lake formed at their base was named Torin’s Lake. There is an established circle of druids living by the Torinfalls, living in the area permeated with natural energy left behind when Torin died. Primal and natural forces dominate the region, and scholars report that many arcane and divine energy sources are suppressed while in the area.
